the track was performed by Adrian Sutton according to wikipedia. Adrian Sutton has a musicians myspace page which confirms it. but this song unfortunately doesnt appear on his page because, it was never released…shame

I watched this the fist time and thought:’Well done, good ad’ Then pushed it away. The second time I saw it I suddenly realised; ‘Oh my god, it’s me’ and have had that song in my head for the past week and it’s making me really miserable.

Superb, clever and uncanny, also, as one said, touching. What you come to expect of VW, i think this advert maybe doesn’t get enough air time.

Freddie mercury sang the version of this song and this is where the ad got the song from. long live freddie!!

Will become another superb VW classic commercial; the message is so touching and we must have all had a moment in life like this!
