30 years of Golf

Superb advert for Volkswagen United Kingdom by Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB). Showing the career of a Product Engineer starting with his first Assignment the Golf one. Through to the Golf five and his ascension to Cheif Product Engineer. Demonstrating a key facet of the Volkswagen brand - CONTINUITY!

Die haben es geschickt von Trabant abgekauft. Und stell dir vor was wäre wenn wir alle heute mit den Trabbis rumgefahren hätten? Also Gott sei dank dass Vw es abgekauft hat!

Golf is the most beautifull hatchback in the world. All the Golf were, is, always the best hatch’ ever built by VW. Its a icon of the industry.

Of all the VW adverts I’ve seen over the years this one is my all time favourite. When I first saw this advert four years ago it was the most exciting advert I’ve ever seen it made me want to watch it over a million times.
