i imagine that i’m, in mission impossible and there is a laser pointing at me from the basket and i have a diamond coated anti laser shield on my right index finger tip and i need to deflect the laser with it to save the world.

besides the shaking hands with the basket, I have also heard you can pretend there is a piece of string from where you’re aiming at the basket to your hand, and then to imagine that string is pulling your hand. This basically helps with aiming or finding the right line

This is the first video i’ve seen where someone putts perpendicular to the basket. I’ve been doing it since i started and have never seen anyone else do it that way. Putting perpendicular really gives you more power and less body movement than the jump putt and overall less chance for error. The only trick is just getting the muscle memory down.

Haha. I think that’s Nike ACG (Air Conditioned Gear) or something. The pit material is likely made of mesh to cool the sweat.

Ok, nobody jumps then releases the disc…that would defeat the whole purpose of the jump putt which is to get more distance. You can think of it the same way as in basketball. You can get a lot more distance if you jump and throw at the same time, however a true jump shot takes a lot of power out of the shot.

You may consider them illegal but the PDGA does not.

my only concern with that is the rule is stance, subsequent to teeing off. it says nothing about putts or upshots.

Rule 803.04:
When the disc is released, a player must:
(1) Have at least one supporting point that is in contact with the playing surface on the line of play and within 30 centimeters directly behind the marker disc

So you cannot be “in the air” when the disc is released.

sorry Rene but that is legal.
They are outside the 10 meters and aslong the disc is out of their hands before their foot hits the ground,it is a legal throw.
