recently I have developed a bit of a fade bias on some of my shots. I think that this vid will help me release the swing better enabling me to hit a straight shot, when needed. Thanks
Dan

Hey Josh!
You want to continue to work the ball from both directions on a regular basis as this will balance your swing and keep it humming; Watch the “Golf Pro Lesson Hooks and slices”, “Golf Pro Lesson Be a Solid Ballstriker” and “Golf Pro Lesson Tilted Spiral part 3″ and let me know…Shawn

Hey Ferrari freak!
Best is to continue to watch my videos starting from the feet together to the one leg drill videos to get the centered feel in the swing; then go to the rest of the videos for swing sequence, sequence power drills and downswing weightshift videos…all are on my “you tube Shawn” page of my website and if you want everything prioritized, I suggest you get my DVD! Hi shawn i know this has no real relevance to this video but i have been really struggling with my golf swing. i take the club back then on the downswing my hands come through on a different plane(i think) and i am hitting everything either right of where im aiming or kind of toe shanking it. Do you know how i can stop this? much appreciate if you could reply. thanks ryan.

Hey man, thanks a ton for the advice. I need to get my swing up on youtube for people to critique. I think the idea of the swing feeling wide is the best advice, I’m off to try this right now. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get back to the range for a few days due to injury, but hopefully this will help.

No No No!!! :) There are a few concepts you have not experienced yet; I would have agreed with you about 10 years ago though! Many many teachers teach how to release the body or clear the body to allow for better extension through the ball to the target…BUT, when you remove the long shaft, you will get a release of the right hand over the left but it is in ascension or releasing upwards and away…have a look at the “Golf Pro lesson no Bones About it” video…Thanks for the comment! The best thing about this video is when you said swinging back too fast causes the club to cross the line.

The long shaft is great for chipping, because it keeps the left wrist firm through the ball, preventing a ’scooping’ action at impact and reinforcing a single lever swing. For the same reason, in a full swing, the long shaft actually causes a chicken wing because it prevents your right forearm from rotating over the left. You may want to redo this video. Just my humble opinion.

I have played golf more than 2 years and had lessons from few coachs but I still cannot get exactly how a golf swing should be until I have watched Shawn’s videos. Now I found my swing is much more fluid. Look forward to get more from your dvd.

Hey Shawn, really really helpful - I’ve been playing golf (badly - handicap 30+) on and off for a couple of years now, and this weekend after watching a number of your videos and taking the advice onto the course, I had a real breakthrough.

By trying to get more width in my swing whilst keeping my weight braced on my left side, suddenly I was getting proper rotation, consistent clean contact and greater accuracy with all clubs. Had a few average holes, but most were par or bogey. Thanks again!
