Shawn, you made my golf game enjoyable again. I wished I known your video three years ago, with all of these oneplane & twoplane stuff. You explained very well all the details. I bought your CD’s last month. I improved my driver and iron. specially the SHANK issue. my 5Iron and 7iron I can tell the different distance bfore was the same. I’m back to shooting on the 80’s again..I’m still planning to see you for the lesson next month. Thank you for helping us..

Hi Shawn,
I’m a 2 handicap and have been following your videos for the last couple of weeks. Really love your downswing weight shift video (really changed things for me).
One question I have for you: Do you have any examples of tour players that swing with the braced tilt you describe. When I watch you swing, you have you right knee kicked in, giving you that reverse ‘K’ address posture.
Thanks and keep up the video. If you’re ever in Montreal, send me a message.

And…I’ve come to the conclusion that focusing on the target is the way to do it, but it still will not help unless you have everything else correct first. That was my problem. I so get it now Shawn, Thank you millions. Awesome Awesome Awesome!! Keep up the great work!!
WHEN IS YOUR NEXT DVD COMING?

OK…For the better part of the last 1-1/2 years your vids have been a part of my daily life. My swing has be evolving since. Some days I think I have found it and then it seems i don’t have it. Lately I had too many swing thoughts in my head. But today, I’ve discovered exactly what you say about alot of things now. The focus on the target along with the correct backswing and follow thru is money now. What helped me the most is discovering how to translate my great short game to the swing.

Great to see a new vid from you Shawn. I would be interested in seeing a vid from you about the follow through. I’m currently working on a high follow through that maintains the tilted spiral (Bubba Watson). Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Shawn, I am interested in buying your DVD, as your instruction is spot on imo. Does the DVD lessons come structured with basic lessons to start and then leading to more advanced lessons later on? Theres a lot of info to take in and it would be great if the DVD gave instruction from basics to advanced in order. I’ll probably buy it anyhow . Keep up the good work Shawn .

Shawn, just wanted to tell you how much you have helped me with your videos! The one think that I took away from this one - “Get the **** out of the way!” I’ve made it part of my pre-shot routine,”Move the hips to get the **** out of the way” Tell me, How current is your set of DVD’s on you web site?

Hey pvaneijl, it’s possible to download clips from youtube in mp4 format (which would play on your ipod) with a tool called DownloadHelper with the Mozilla FireFox browser. Let me know if you want to know more, or need help with it.

Hi Shawn, I just started golf a few months ago and love your easy to understand lessons! It has really improved my accuracy and distance!
Yesterday I was at the driving range and thought to myself: How nice would it be if I can have these tips on my ipod, so I can see the “offline”. Have you ever thought about bringing your great movies out as podcasts?
Anyway: Keep up the good work!

Hi Shawn, great videos, you have the best vids on YouTube.
I’ve picked up a lot lately but hitting straight shots with my long irons - 3, 4, and 5 - has been inconsistent and I find myself hooking a majority of the time. I’m unsure as to exactly what is causing this. What are the most common causes of a steady hook and what can I focus on to try and bring more consistency to these frustrating shots? Thanks in advance and keep up the excellent work…

Hi Shawn,
I’m having some problems with a slice with a majority of clubs but especially driver!!. The ball starts straight and the whips away to the right which often leads to a lost ball. Sometimes (mostly when on the driving range) I hit several consistent good straight shots… but as soon as I’m on the course it goes to pot and I can’t figure out why… any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I’ve lost to many balls today!! Thanks, Darren

They are Titleist AP2s; I am liking the feel but miss my blades and will probably get back to them; but as a back up set, they are great! Shawn

Thanks very much! You are on to something here; what you need to watch out for with the longer irons is give yourself enough room at address to swing the arms freely; see “golf pro lesson set up for all clubs” as well as “golf pro lesson taut swing philosophy” Shawn

Thanks for the great comment! It is from teaching people like all of you that I got to where I am today; instead of amateurs adapting to PGA tour players, PGA tour players should adapt well to simplicity that is enjoyed by all of us! Shawn
