I’m not a fan of VW’s, but this add makes me want to buy a Golf.

Burton is a ‘tour de force’…his voice and rhythm are out of this world…I am in awe. Don’t think I’ll ever hear another voice that will come anywhere near his brilliance.

i thought this was a cracking ad. a pitty they didnt run it for that long.
Richard Burton sounds more whispery here than on the spoken word cd.

Don’t know ’bout you, but I just love it when they use great works of art to sell us ****. I do. My hearts tingles with warmth at knowing that most people will look at this thing and think “Hmmm…Volkswagen hired some really good writters for this…hmmm”

Everytime this advertisment was on the television, I had to watch it. Its impossible not too.

The ad is about driving for pleasure, as opposed to driving for necessity.

Have you ever gone for a drive late at night when the world sleeps just for the sake of it? When I do, it always helps me to clear my head. An empty road with no distractions is a beautiful thing.

That’s what they’re selling. Not the car. I think it’s a really clever and attention-grabbing film.

I remember first seeing this advert, and i thought how artistic and imaginative it is.
